Keeping Students Abreast of the Latest in Business

The School of Business Studies, Shobhit Deemed University, has a legacy going back almost a quarter of century, when its precursor, the NICE Management College was established in 1995 becoming one of the pioneers of management education in Western U.P.
Today, the SBS provides its students with the state of the art facilities to hone their management and entrepreneurial skills. With a team of experienced Faculty- almost all of whom hold Doctorate degrees, they not only provide students a sound theoretical grounding, but go beyond, to provide thorough practical training and enhanced employability skills.
A rigorous teaching schedule includes interactive classes, discussions in tutorials, and regular assignments. Learning is enriched through in-depth analysis of case studies. Live projects keep students engaged with ground realities. Power Point Presentations made and delivered by students on assorted topics are a regular feature.
To enhance employability, a comprehensive Personality Development programe is built into the yearly calendar. A state of the art Communication Lab provides the opportunity and technology for sharpening communication skills, including grammar and pronunciation. This is a great boon to those students, who may have so far studied through the vernacular medium.
Frequent workshops, seminars, and national and international conferences keep students abreast of the latest in research. Their “Ignited Minds” series of invited lectures gives students an opportunity to interact with and learn from the leading luminaries in multiple disciplines and prepares them for their future role as global citizens.
The Open Source Learning Centre facilitates video lectures and makes learning comprehensible and meaningful. The Central Library contains over 52000 titles over and 200 research journals. The Virtual Library provides the facility to download books and journals electronically.
Add-on courses are an additional feature that supplement the regular curriculum and give students an additional skill based course at no extra expense to enhance their practical skills and liven up their CV. It is also mandatory for students to register themselves on SWAYAM portal to increase their knowledge base.
Educational tours and industrial visits are a popular feature combining enjoyment with learning.
